Marcus Miller
|
Founder of Miller Motorsports in 2002, Marcus started participating on High performance driver
education events, with a goal of attaining his racing license. This dream was realized in October 2003.
Beginning his racing career in the competitive California Sports Car Club Pro7 class, as well
as with NASA Norcal in the Pro7 class, Marcus has achieved pole positions as well as race
victories in his short career.
Marcus has also won in the NASA Performance Touring D class,
as well as completing in the 2005 25 hours of Thunderhill, finishing 13th in the E2 class.
This year saw a move to the highly competitive Spec Miata class and a season long campaign in
the Western Endurance Championship E2 class. |

Tom Aiken |
Tom Aiken started his competition career autocrossing with Porsche
Club of America in early 2004, with his first HPDE in November of that
year. He completed the SCCA licensing school in March of 2005, and
began racing with NASA in May as a founding member of Team Shed
Racing. He competed in NASA's GTI Cup for the 2005 and 2006 seasons,
earning one victory and several podium finishes, contributing to his
team finishing second in season points in 2005 and third in 2006.
Tom
also competed in several Endurance races with Miller Motorsports in 2005 and 2006,
including the 2005 25 Hours of Thunderhill. |

Dan Pina |
At the age of 17, Dan Pina began autocrossing in northern California. After 3 years and 3 championship
titles, Dan moved on to Rally Cross, and later attended Rally school in Nevada. After competing in club and Pro
Rally, Dan decided to focus on road racing. After earning his competition license in 2003, he attended
several regional NASA events, earning a spot on the podium several times. Dan competed in the 25 hour
Enduro every year since its introduction in 2003, and last year set a new track record and captured
the E3 class win.
Most recently, Dan has been competing in amatuer drift competitions, earning his way towards
nationals. Now, having just competed at Nationals in Laughlin Nevada, Dan proved his skills
against other top ranked amatuers and previously licensed Formula Drift competitors. Dan
placed 3rd overall earning his full competition Formula Drift Professinal License at the age of 25. |

Ron Swett |
Ron has been competing with Shed Racing co-founder Tom Aiken in NASA's GTI cup series since 2005.
With race wins, pole positions and podiums, Ron has taken his passion for motorsports to the track, while building
and developing his GTI cup car to its full potential. 2006 saw Ron partner with Miller Motorsports for WERC races and
move from crew to driver on the 2006 25 hour squad. Ron enjoys spending quality time with his family while constantly tinkering
with his motorsports projects to extract the maximum performance. |

Dean Thomas |
Dean has been driving competitively for over 15 years including SCCA Solo II, time trials and for the last two years, wheel to wheel racing. Dean co-drives a Spec Miata with his wife, Laura, in northern California events with NASA and the SCCA. Dean has achieved multiple podiums and a class win with NASA, podium finishes in SCCA ITA and routinely finishes inside the top ten in the highly competitive San Francisco Region SCCA Spec Miata class. Dean has also competed in multi-hour enduro events with both sanctioning bodies.
Dean has been a high-performance driving and racing instructor since 2001 with organizations such as the Northern California Racing Club, the Porsche Club of America and the NSX and Audi clubs, always looking to increase his experience with over 175 days on-track in the last 5 years.
Between races, Dean manages the Professional Services group of a successful software company in the San Francisco Bay Area.
